When I tell you this is the BEST SOUL FOOD in the Lou! Today was my first time visiting this establishment and the customer service was great. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered two stuffed turkey legs:The first one had greens, sweet potatoes, and mac& cheese. The second one had smoother cabbage, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. All of these flavors blended in perfectly and I was bomb rush by my family when I uncover this greatness. The food was so good I sent my son to get another stuffed turkey leg for himself. I most definitely will be returning. (sorry no picture we start eating before I could snap a picture)

My first time and the food was amazing I had the tripe with fries, the fries were fresh and hot the tripe was like I like it really crispy and big pieces. Will most definitely be going back to try other items on the menu!!!

I stopped in for ribs but they were still cooking on the grill. So I ordered a meal for my Grandson. He chose Fried catfish fillets, fries, and baked beans. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The cashier was a very friendly young man. The atmosphere was nice and pleasant. I will definitely return and I Do recommend!

I've been here a few times strictly for their tripe it is Soo good! Out of three times every single time my tripe was cooked perfect! I love a crispy tripe and they know what they doing the Mac and cheese is bussing also!......I plan to try other things but right now I'm addicted to their tripe 10/10 I do recommend!

Ordered through Door Dash because I wanted to try for a minute and I was pleasantly pleased. For once, a soul food spot that tastes home made like your granny made it. I will be trying more items. I had the fried chicken with macaroni and green beans.My only criticism is while it wasn’t overly salty, lighten up a lil bit more on it. It was seasoned good so too much salt is not necessary.

•Great Atmosphere•Awesome Service From the staff• The Food Was Fresh Hot And Tasty,We Had Chicken Wings , macaroni .• The Tripe Sandwhich Is Huge And Cooked Perfectly Delicious.!We also ordered ah fish plate the fish is fried fresh and We Had Spaghetti and the Garlic Mashed Potatoes for the side .Fire Definitely Goin Again Thanks Yall.

Didn’t feel much like cooking today, so I thought I would give Cali's Corner a try. I tried the stuffed turkey leg with 3 sides. Mashed potatoes, cabbage and greens as the sides, also tried the smothered pork chop on a bed of rice with Mashed potatoes and greens. With I could have done a better variety of sides but they were sold out (good for them). The food was presented favorably and very tasty. The only thing I would say is pull back a bit on the salt in the greens. I will come again, and I will come earlier so I can try other side items.
